On a postcard showing a river scene in Argentina Dupont has penned three measures from the prelude to his opera La Cabréra which won him the Sonzogno Prize in Italy in 1905. He has signed boldly across the image and dated Vésinet August 1905. On the verso the postcard is addressed to the Argentinian collector Patricia Otaño with original French stamp and postmark. Slight wear to the edges; overall in fine condition. 5.5 x 3.5 inches 13.7 x 8.8 cm. unknown books
