Molto buono Very Good. . <em>Nato a Belo Horizonte si trasferisce con la famiglia a Rio de Janeiro nel 1952 dove vive a Leblon allontanandosi solo per una stagione a Milano 1970-1972 e una a Parigi negli anni Ottanta. Nel corso della sua carriera iniziata nel 1964 ha tenuto numerose mostre personali sia in Brasile che all'estero. Nel 1965 partecipa alla storica mostra Opiniã";o 65 al Museo d'Arte Moderna di Rio de Janeiro MAM/RJ curata da Jean Boghici e Ceres Franco. Nello stesso anno è tra gli organizzatori dell'evento Proposition 65 alla Fondazione Armando Álvares Penteado FAAP di San Paolo. A Milano espone al Centro strumenti nel 1971 e al Centro Forme l'anno successivo. Nel 1973 espone una personale all'Akumulatory 2 di Poznan in Polonia e al Centro de Arte y Comunicación CAYC di Buenos Aires in Argentina. Tornato in Brasile realizza opere video e film d'artista di cui è considerato uno dei pionieri nel Paese. </em> <em>Nel 1974 insieme a Walter Zanini organizza la mostra Prospectiva 74 al Museo d'Arte Contemporanea dell'Università di San Paolo MAC/USP. All'inizio degli anni Ottanta inizia a dedicarsi alla pittura figurativa. Nel 1984 dopo diverse altre mostre nasce la sua creazione più nota la tartaruga colorata Rex. Cuori nature morte e autoritratti sempre segnati da una continua interrogazione sul colore sul desiderio e sull'umorismo sono altri temi suggestivi della sua produzione pittorica.Nel 1994 ha tenuto una mostra per commemorare il 10° anniversario del personaggio Rex presso il Centro Culturale Banco do Brasil di Rio de Janeiro intitolata Rex Makes Ten. Nel 2004 per celebrare i 20 anni di Rex e i 40 anni di pittura ha tenuto una retrospettiva delle sue opere alla Fondazione Casa Franç"a-Brasil di Rio de Janeiro la sua ultima grande mostra in vita.</em> Centro Tool, unknown
