Cloth; 8vo. 279 pages. Apparent first edition. She did some time at Auschwitz before escaping from a different prison camp, and became a Red Army officer before becoming disillusioned with the Communists. She deserted, and managed to join the remnants of her family in Palestine in 1947. World War, 1939-1945 -- Personal narratives, Jewish. Excellent condition in good jacket. (H-31)
