Some of the images may be based in part on the photographs of the photographer Library of Congress identifies as 'Herr Bedo' this album is composed of 16 mounted photographs with captions supplied by hand most right around 4 x 2 7/8 inches some landscape some portrait with the opening image 4 5/8 x 3 3/8 inches. The images appear to be largely pre-1945 with exceptions such as 'The Big Tea Room' featuring a group of American soldiers in uniform and the two post-bombing views of Hitler and Goring's houses. Presumably created for the postwar tourist trade largely US military of visitors to Berchtesgaden.
