Einband stärker berieben, Ecken und Kapitale bestoßen und gestaucht, Kanten beschabt, papierbedingt gegilbt, ex libris-Stempel und handschriftliche Nummer auf Vorsatz bzw. dem Titel, Vorsatz mit Kleberesten und etwas angeknittert, Innenscharnier angeplatzt und von Privat geklebt, durchgehend mittig mit leichtem Knick, Schnitt angestaubt und mit einem Wasserrand im unteren Bereich,Titel mit deutlichen Fingerspuren, stellenweise mit Stockflecken und/oder leichten Fingerspuren, auf den Deckblättern der einzelnen Ausgaben befindet sich eine hs. Notiz am oberen Rand (Bleistift), S. V und 105 jeweils mit einer Fehlstelle mit etwas Textverlust, sonst innen deutlich besser erhalten als außen. Mit einem Inhaltsverzeichnis am Anfang für alle 103 Ausgaben dieses Jahrgangs, 1 lithographierten Plan zur Beschießung von Verdun vom 13-15 October 1870 und 2 ausfaltbaren Tafeln mit Abbildungen nach nach Skizzen. Die Zeitung erschien 2 x wöchentlich. Neben historischen Begebenheiten, Neuerungen und Berichten des deutschen Militärs enthält jede Ausgabe eine Buchkritik und 1 Seite themenbezogene Anzeigen.
