1942300468Selma Alabama 1942. 8 1/2" x 11" softcover 32pp yearbook originally belonging to Sallie Anne Dean Pleasants 1925-2019; her brother Corporal Clarence Dean was stationed there and his contact information is written in the back. ~~Built in 1940 to accommodate the growing number of flight trainees before WWII the first graduating class of Craig Field completed the training course 7 months before the United States' entry into the war. ~~This publication gives a history of the school the officers and staff and dozens of photos of numerous aspects of life there. ~~Slight wear on both covers smeared inscription on back cover.
