Jacques-Antoine Dulaure 1755-1835 was a French archaeologist and historian and a politican during the French revolution. He was among the deputies who voted for the death of Louis XIV and he wrote several works about the revolution. This study about ancient rituals cults and idolatry was first published in 1805 and again in 1825.
