8vo., First Edition, with 33 plates on 16 and 14 maps in the text; blue cloth, gilt back, a fine copy in unclipped dustwrapper. Only when called upon to fulfil a fleet role for which she was never designed did she come to spectacular grief at Jutland. A gripping, if inevitable, story, well told with much new material and good clutch of uncommon photographs.
