Complete set bar one, (Vol.3,1981). 186 volumes in very good condition. Published in three parts annually to 1990, four parts thereafter. The earliest publications (pre 1995) show more distinct age-related wear; some discolouration of boards and spines, bumped corners and similar. There is a varied selection of attractive library plates to pastedowns and FEP's throughout the collection, and many previous owners, including QC's, have penned prior ownership. Discreet library stamps and bar codes are also present on a number of volumes. Internally, pages are well bound; several of the later volumes in 'as unread' condition. Conjunto integrado en un volúmen en folio: portada con un grabado de la Ascensión de la Virgen, 146 pp. + 17 hojas + 12 hojas + 64 hojas + 3 hojas manuscritas + 66 hojas. Cubiertas mudas en cartulina. Firman las Alegaciones en Derecho los Licenciados Francisco de la Cueva y Sylva, Gonçalo de Berrio, Gelimon de la Mota y el Doctor Aguiar, por una parte, y por la contraria el Licenciado Antonio de la Cueva y Silva, cuya firma autógrafa aparece en el impreso y manuscrito correspondientes. La remisión final "en discordia" la firman, autógrafas, los Licenciados Muñoz Molina, Bartolomé Matute y el Doctor Luis Ascensio Lopez. Hacen referencia a todo lo actuado hasta sus dias en el largo y costosísimo pleito sobre la sucesión en el Condado de Siruela y Mayorazgo de la Casa de Velasco.

K. Friederich (1789-1858) “gab u. a. 1821/22 den politisch-satirischen ‘Beobachter am Rhein und Main’ heraus und arbeitete für zahlreiche weitere Zeitschriften in Köln und Mainz, 1825 als Redakteur des ‘Phönix’ in Mannheim und Stuttgart [...] Daneben entstanden populärwissenschaftliche historische und geographische Sammelwerke” (DBE). - Vereinzelt minimal fleckig. A merchant's manual by the German mathematician Nelkenbrecher (d. 1760), first published in 1762, providing information on weights and measures of trading towns all over the world, including European places as well as cities in Persia, India, Syria, Latin America and the USA. The text includes tables listing different currencies and the rates of gold and silver coins, as well as various units of weight and measurement. The last few pages offer instructions on calculating the value of gold and silver for Berlin, Hamburg, London, Amsterdam, Paris and Spain in general. - With contemporary handwritten ownerships by the Berlin silk manufacturer F. S. C. Lehnerdt to the title-page and page 284, his stamp of ownership to pages 393 and 415. Variously browned, large stain to the bottom of the title-page.
