Eugène Duclerc (1812-88) fu giornalista al Bon Sens assieme a B. e collaborò alla Revue du Progrés, diretta dallo stesso B., dove si occupò di economia e finanza, e per qualche tempo ministro delle finanze dopo la Rivoluzione del 1848. Dopo la repressione, si ritirò dalla vita politica, diventando industriale nel sud della Francia. Alla caduta di Napoleone III venne rieletto (1874) deputato nelle file della sinistra.

Author was president of Reichsbank, piloting Germany through the financial dangers of 1923 to 1929. It was the historic German financial collapse of 1923 that first brought Dr. Schacht into prominence. Alexander Berkman (born Ovsei Osipovich Berkman, 18701936) was a leading member of the anarchist movement in the early 20th century, famous for both his political activism and his writing. Berkman was born into a Jewish family in Vilna in the Russian Empire and emigrated to the United States in 1888. He lived in New York City, where he became involved in the anarchist movement. He was the one-time lover and lifelong friend of anarchist Emma Goldman. In 1892, undertaking an act of propaganda of the deed, Berkman made an unsuccessful attempt to assassinate businessman Henry Clay Frick, for which he served 14 years in prison (Wikipedia, 2016) . L'incalzare degli avvenimenti successivi alla rivoluzione di luglio rese quest'opera un 'istant book', con integrazioni e modifiche nelle varie edizioni pubblicate tra il '32 e il '34. Nell'analisi dei fatti a lui contemporanei, Cabet si rifa' a molti degli avvenimenti legati alle varie fasi della rivoluzione francese. Cabet, che aveva partecipato attivamente alla rivolta del luglio 1830, per fuggire al clima reazionario della Francia di Luigi Filippo, si trasferi' presto in Inghilterra, dove entro' in contatto con le teorie comuniste e in particolare con Owen. Nel 1840, rientrato in Francia publico' la sua opera utopistica piu' importante, Voyage en Icarie, grazie alla quale si guadagno' la fama di apostolo di un comunismo pacifico e filantropico, ispirato in parte al comunismo egualitario di Babeuf e alle teorie dei riformatori illuministi del Settecento. Da notare che nel 1848 un primo gruppo di seguaci di Cabet si trasferira' negli Stati Uniti dove tentera' di realizzare la citta' ideale proposta nel Voyage en Icarie. L'esperimento sopravvisse a Cabet (che mori' nel 1856) e ando' avanti attraverso scissioni, spostamenti e fasi alterne sino al 1895, quando la comunita' si sciolse e i beni' vennero divisi. Cfr. First Turkish translation published in book format of "Guerilla Warfare", written by Mao Zedong and translated with the same subject written by Che Guevara and an American officer. Mao's book contains a summary of knowledge and experience of the guerrilla resistance carried out within the national front established with Chang Kai-shek (1887-1975). Che Guevara's book, on the other hand, explains the technical results of guerrilla resistance, which was the basis of the Cuban War of Independence. The translator of this book, Can Yücel (1926-1999) was a Turkish poet noted for his use of colloquial language. Yücel also translated the works of Shakespeare, Lorca and Brecht into Turkish and his creative rendering of these authors are classics in their own right in Turkey. This book is translated from the original 1961 edition in English by "Cassel and Company Limited", London. Only two institutional copies in OCLC, all of them are in Turkish libraries: 949516672, 1030075606.
