249 pages. "I have a passion: unlimited health. In order to reduce this dream, I went to medical school. For many years, I was convinced that I was on the right track. Reality, however, was something else altogether. Thoughts, emotions and feelings, these invisible and untouchable antagonists invariably frustrated me in my scientific work. I then turned to alternative medicines and natural therapies, which offered other solutions for overall health. I set out in search of them to many countries and discovered the benefits they had to offer. But people continue to suffer and die all the same. Why? Why is our state of health constantly deteriorating? Why does our medical system cost so much? Why is it maintained when everyone is so dissatisfied with it? Whom does it profit? Not knowing where to go next, I turned inward. Unlimited health was waiting for me there!" - Author. Distributor's stamp upon half-title page else clean, bright and unmarked with light wear. 20 pages. Circa 2000. An 80 point memorandum of law filed by Ernst Zundel's lawyers in 2000. Sets out facts and argues that Justice Campbell's Federal Court of Canada decision was correct regarding bias and that Zundel should not have been forced to be judged by a Canadian Human Rights Commission tribunal in the circumstances extant. "In a May 14, 1998 editorial entitle 'Justice Deniers', the Ottawa Citizen wrote that since the Human Rights Tribunal had been found to be systematically biased, 'it is not possible for Mr. Zundel, or anyone else, to have a fair hearing before a Canadian Human Rights Tribunal as these tribunals are now constituted.' Ernst Zundel continues to fight to obtain justice before a fair and impartial tribunal. His case will be the standard against which the rights of all other Canadians will be measured." - from page 2. I have written chiefly of one government in this book - that of the new Jewish state of Israel... I am a Jew. I come of a long, never-broken line of Jews... They did well by the world... What happened to this fine heritage when the Jews finally fashioned a government of their own in Israel; what happened to Jews when they became Jewish politicians, what happened to a piety, a sense of honor, and a brotherly love that 2,500 years of anti-semitism were unable to disturb in the Jewish soul? My answers are in this book." - from Preface. Staining to front endpaper, otherwise contents clean and unmarked. Binding intact. A sound reading copy. Book

Engraved Ex Libris of the Bibliotheque Congregation de Notre Dame, Maison des Oiseaux. Oval engraved French booksellers label (Potey). Brunet V:88. Sallust was a famed Roman historian and politician. He was tribune of the people (52 B.C.) and praetor (46). He was ejected (50) from the senate ostensibly for adultery, but more probably because of his partisanship for Caesar. He served with Caesar after his pra etorship, and was his governor in Numidia; he was subsequently accused of misusing his governorship for personal gain. His principal works are the Bellum Catilinae, on the conspiracy of Catiline, and his account of the Jugurthine War, Bellum Jugurthinum. His history of Rome is extant only in fragments; it probably covered the period 78 B.C. to 67 B.C. As a historian Sallust was important as one of t he first to write historical monographs dealing with sharply limited events and periods. Although his style is consciously archaic, it is distinguished by its terseness and directness. His character s ketches are particularly impressive and vivid, and his work has found as many imitators as critics - Columbia Encyclopedia. A very nice example of one of the best editions of Sallust. **PRICE JUST REDUCED! SMALL BOX 1
