br. Musica e politica hanno rappresentato nel corso del tempo un binomio molto stretto. Questa collana si propone di mettere in luce alcuni momenti in cui il linguaggio musicale ha saputo "sostituirsi" alla politica, traducendo in canzoni istanze che le forme organizzate del dibattito pubblico non riuscivano ad esprimere in maniera chiara. In questo senso, una particolare attenzione è dedicata alle diverse manifestazioni espressive che sono riconducibili ai fenomeni musicali, dalla stampa di settore, al costume e alle narrazioni letterarie per ricostruire un clima o meglio ancora, per usare un termine imprendibile, un mood.
ill., br. Nel corso degli anni Trenta un instancabile Mussolini percorre in lungo e in largo l'Italia inaugurando centinaia di opere architettoniche. È un attivismo progettuale che assegna un ruolo privilegiato alla città di Roma, dove non c'è opera importante di cui il duce non abbia visitato il cantiere o esaminato il progetto ma che dissemina tutto il paese di una miriade di simboli di pietra, icone del patto politico da lui stretto con il suo popolo. Nuovi e imponenti palazzi pubblici, accanto ai monumenti antichi e gloriosi, costituiscono lo scenario del più ambizioso progetto politico e antropologico mussoliniano: la creazione dell'uomo nuovo fascista, stirpe rinnovata di italiani guerrieri e costruttori. L'architettura diviene così simbolo dell'identità della nazione, efficace dispositivo capace di suggestionare le masse, inculcare i miti, modellare il carattere delle generazioni. Nata per durare, l'architettura mussoliniana si propone di tramandare ai posteri i valori della civiltà fascista allo scopo di ipotecare la costruzione dell'identità nazionale per le epoche che verranno.
Brossura dall'aspetto consunto, copertina morbida decorata da una foto in b.n. di Benito Mussolini, in cornice al centro del piatto, si notano, decise scuriture, ombre di polvere, escoriazioni da sfregamento, imperfezioni da usura, lesioni alle cuffie, strappi e mancanze, l'interno del volume, presenta fogli, fortemente bruniti e caratterizzati dall'allentamento delle cuciture, tagli scuri e non rifilati, iscrizione a matita alla guardia. In 8 (cm 17 x 24,5), pp. (2 bianche) + (8) + 152 + (2) + (2) di indice. Illustrazioni infantili intercalate al testo che ritraggono Mussolini. Gora al piatto anteriore, alla prima carta di sguardia e al taglio esterno del frontespizio. Brossura editoriale illustrata da Lucio Venna al piatto anteriore. Rara pubblicazione, con prefazione di Augusto Turati, in cui Dolores Mingozzi, maestra di Molinella, raccoglie e commenta i pensieri su Mussolini degli alunni e delle alunne della scuola elementare, giudizi che risentono della letteratura apologetica e propagandistica sulla figura del duce. L'immagine di onnipotenza propagandata dal regime alimentava il mito del superuomo dotato di poteri straordinari. Le qualita' sovrumane di Mussolini dettero origine all'immagine del duce come valoroso, impavido, eroico e capace di affrontare e riuscire in varie attivita' piu' o meno audaci. Tra i giudizi dei piccoli intervistati si legge: "Lavora sempre, e non dorme mai, o quasi. Chiude gli occhi ogni dieci minuti, poi si desta, si da' una bella lavata, e torna subito subito a lavorare che e' fresco come una rosa"; "Lui fa tutto, capisce tutto, sa tutto. Si mette a parlare con gli scienziati di tutte le cose piu' difficili e fa sempre la prima figura. Provano d'ammazzarlo e non son mai buoni di prenderci..."; "Mussolini hanno sempre tentato di ucciderlo, ma non vi sono mai riusciti. Dicono che abbia la camicia della Madonna. (ca. 31 x 23 cm). 1 Blatt. Original-Flugblatt, beidseitig bedruckt, mit verschiedenen Schriftgrößen (Gebrochene Grotesk). Papier etwas gebräunt und gerändert, wurde gelocht. Obere linke Ecke mit Einriss, sonst gut erhalten. Altersentsprechend noch guter Zustand. Sehr interessantes Original-Flugblatt der Zentrumspartei zur Reichstagswahl, sehr wahrscheinlich jener im Juli 1932. Das beidseitig eng bedruckte Blatt enthält geschickte Angriffe auf die NSDAP und ihre Führer, mit dem Ziel die Wähler zurück zu gewinnen. Hierfür wurden Illustrationen mit Beitexten benutzt. Joseph Goebbels wird hier als Politiker skizziert, der vor der Wahl von "Volksgenossen" spricht und nach Wahlerfolg die Wähler als "Septemberlinge" bezeichnet. Eine andere Zeichnung zeigt Adolf Hitler, der demütig vor Kurt von Schleicher einknickt. Die dritte Zeichnung mit dem Titel "Das Röhmsche Reich" stellt einen SA-Mann dar, dem die Worte "Ich kenne keine Deutschen mehr - ich kenne nur meine SA!" in den Mund gelegt werden. Durchaus geschickte politische Kommunikation, die allerdings nicht mehr verfing. Die NSDAP hat 1932 starke Stimmenzuwächse erfahren. Seltenes Flugblatt kurz vor dem Machtantritt der NSDAP in Deutschland!
