The newspaper is celebrating the visit of President Kruschev of Russia to France and Marseille. The front cover is printed in red and blue and has an attractive border of French and Russian flags. An attractive cartoon by Jean Effel dominates the front page was designed for "l'Association France-URSS." Much of the newspaper is concerned with the visit. 12 pages. "La Marseillaise" is a left leaning regional daily newspaper founded in 1943 by the French Resistance mainly distributed in southern France. It describes itself as a progressive independent paper strongly committed to democratic debate and pluralism in the press. In addition, the British colonial administration requested that the name of the school be Victorian in return for the assistance it made for the construction of the school. The school, which started its educational activities in 1902 despite its establishment in 1901, played an important role in the development of contemporary Turkish Cypriot women. Moreover, it can be said that the school had important impacts on the political, cultural and social life of the island. Meanwhile, the school played an important role in the adoption of the Ataturk's Revolutions in Cyprus.
