Songs include those related to sailing fishing and maritime topics; those related to cities such as Wilmot Nuremburg and others; songs of the seasons; a harvest song; songs on farming etc. Artemas Nixon Johnson was a 19th century American musician from the New England/Boston area being very active in the American Musical Convention as well as a former student and contemporary of Lowell Mason see Stopp Johnson Versus Mason. GOOD condition. Several tiny insect holes along the front hinge. General fading with some soiling and staining. Extremities rather scuffed and bumped.
