Very good overall with a few volumes affected by external dampstaining page edges occasionally affected but reading surface are clean; some corners bumped hinges tender or starting a few boards lightly bowed cloth bubbled at one volume; all volumes are shaken and most bear some mild external soil; top-edges are dust-soiled. Volumes I II and XII are just good; the others are about very good to very good. A few maps bear slight edgewear but the text is sound and serviceable overall. unknown books
