Illustrat- ion shows the Chinese pirate junk beig attached by a small English craft with a large cannon while H.M. Flamer shoots cannon fire. This battle took place in the neighborhood of the Ning-Po. Chinese naval pirates became bolder as the Bri- tish fleet reduced their patrols in the Shanghai area. In this altercation the pirates consist of some ten boats. unknown
