The inscription pictured is somewhat bizarre and almost seems a bit Hannibal Lecter-ish. The interior pages are toned due to age but are overall clean there is a few scattered smudge marks and foxing spots but these are minimal. Page 23 has a small crease in the upper outside corner. This book was originally published by Doubleday of which this one is stated first edition on the copyright page.
