Jean Capart (1877-1947). Presented to the Fondation Universitaire upon returning from a stay in the U.S.A., Capart's Memorandum "Reglement des dettes entre la Belgique et l'Amérique, Accord du 18 août 1925" was pompiled on November 20, 1925. It examines some of the points in the Dawes Plan with extraordinary detail. Shading a light on a practically unknown activity of the "Father of Belgian Egyptology" this document is of great interest to the study of the economic history of Belgium and the history of foreign relations of the United States, as well as a milestone in the extraordinary career of Capart. Of utmost rarity. No other copy could be located in any database or bibliography. Not in WorldCat OCLC nor in KVK.
