Top edge gilt uncut Original printed frontcover preserved. - Printed in 325 copies. One of the 300 copies on "papier vélin blanc fort". "Chaque exemplaire est compagné d'un Album contenant 21 planches". In our copy the 21 plates are placed in the book: lithographed frontispiece portrait of Charlotte de Corday and 20 other engraved portraits some with autographs. - Besides these 21 plates there are 9 other engravings inserted from other editions smaller sizes pasted on thick paper. - Unfortunately textleaves and portraits with large brown spots. Still a good copy in a nice binding very rare with all the plates and the 9 supplementary portraits Amyot, Libraire-Éditeur unknown
