An itinerary then guides the visitor to the site with detailed information on things to be seen, from the monumental remains of the cathedral, the shrine of St. Philip and the castle, to more humble tenth century Byzantine houses and the remains of early Turkish farms on the hills above the town. The book concludes with a glossary and a select bibliography.
