Le ricerche hanno permesso di ricostruire dettagliatamente l'articolata stratificazione edilizia che ha interessato l'area nelle differenti fasi di occupazione, di elaborare in forma definitiva la planimetria dell'edificio pubblico di età medio-imperiale e di proporre efficaci ipotesi ricostruttive delle sue caratteristiche architettoniche e funzionali. Lo studio dei materiali di scavo ha permesso di inquadrare cronologicamente i momenti di impianto e di trasformazione del complesso, offrendo nuovi dati sul livello sociale degli abitanti e sui cambiamenti intercorsi nell'economia della città tra l'età medio-imperiale e l'epoca bizantina. Alle analisi antropologiche si devono inoltre interessanti informazioni sulla struttura demografica della città, sulla paleodieta e sullo stato di salute della popolazione in età bizantina.
