Hamond to FEP with his inked ownership inscription to head of title page. The sole edition of an anonymous mid-eighteenth-century account of the defeat of the Spanish Armada. Sir Graham Eden Hamond 1779-1862 respected naval officer notable for his commands during the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. Following a distinguished career including a period serving as Commander-in-Chief South American Station Hamond attained the rank of Admiral of the Fleet.
