Keane. Wilhelm Junker 1840-1892 traveled through Africa from 1875 to 1886 studying the peoples and collecting specimens of plants and animals. The third volume of "Travels" outlines his investigation of the Nile/ Congo watersheds and travels through Uganda and Tabora to Zanzibar. He also established the identity of the Welle and Ubangi people. Junker died shortly after his return from his last African expedition from disease caught on his travels. London.
