2006225899Gottingen: Steidl 2006. Rilegato tela con tavola applicata al piatto anteriore original full cloth with inlay to front cover. Perfetto Mint. Catalogo della mostra tenutasi presso l'Hammer Museum at UCLA Los Angeles 5 marzo - 4 giugno 2006. Testi di Carolyn Peter John W. Dower e John Swope. Fotografie in bianco e nero di John Swope. Biografia Bibliografia. Cm 27x22. pp. 256. Perfetto Mint. Prima edizione First Edition. Steidl, hardcover

"Shipbuilding in the Maritime Provinces had progressed as an industry for almost 100 years when it burst into full glory during the middle decades of the nineteenth century. These were the years of the Golden Age of Sail, when wooden square-rigged vessels were being built in every town and hamlet close enough to water to float a vessel; when Canada stood fourth among the ship-owning countries of the world and Yarmouth and Saint John were among the world's great ship-owning ports."
