From the blurb: "Most detective work involves simple research you can do for yourself -- if you know where to look. This book is designed to allow almost any person to do investigative work on individuals from the comfort of their home. In many ways, this book is the alter ego of other books on establishing a new identity or increasing your personal privacy. These same databases can be tapped by the person who wishes to do the opposite, that is, to invade the privacy of others. In this age of computerized files and databases, this can be done very easily. moral implications of such actions are left to the individual."
