The Federal Facilities Policy Group included the Departments of: Agriculture Defense Energy Health and Human Services Interior and Justice along with the Environmental Protection Agency NASA and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This report outlines the significant scientific technical administrative regulatory and political challenges the Federal Government faces in cleaning up Federal lands and facilities. In addition the report summarized progress to that date and identified specific policy and management reforms that were needed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Federal cleanup program. Also Mr. Grumbly is a member of the Board of the Alliance to Save Energy and also a member of the Board of Visitors of the University of California Berkeley. Mr. Grumbly s most recent public service was at the US Department Energy. Beginning in 1993 he served as the Assistant Secretary for Environmental Management responsible for dealing with the cold war legacy of special nuclear material and nuclear waste. Subsequently in 1996-1997 he served as The Under Secretary of the Department of Energy where he had total responsibility for the health safety and environment functions of the Department as well as efforts in nuclear energy. Mr. Grumbly holds a Bachelor s from Cornell University and Masters from the University of Toronto and the University of California at Berkeley. He is the author of numerous articles on public and environmental policy. He is the recipient of the Secretary of State Distinguished Honor Award for his work in reducing international commerce in nuclear weapons material." br. Il tema della valutazione d'azienda è da tempo al centro di un ampio dibattito nella dottrina economico-aziendale e pone rilevanti problemi nella pratica aziendale e professionale. Le metodologie di stima del capitale economico si possono suddividere in due grandi categorie: dirette ed indirette. Le prime fanno riferimento ai prezzi di mercato; le seconde possono essere riferite a grandezze flusso ed a grandezze stock. Le metodologie basate sui flussi consistono nell'attualizzazione dei risultati reddituali futuri, dei cash flow prospettici o dei dividendi attesi. Tali formule valutative si rivelano di non agevole applicazione a motivo dell'elevato grado di soggettività e della difficoltà che si incontra nella stima dei parametri finanziari e reddituali che le costituiscono. Allo scopo di rendere operative le metodologie valutative riferite a grandezze flusso, nel volume sono esposti i cosiddetti metodi reddituali e finanziari semplificati. I metodi basati su grandezze stock si fondano sulla stima degli elementi patrimoniali materiali e immateriali. Notevole attenzione è rivolta alla valutazione degli elementi immateriali aventi e non aventi valore di mercato. II volume è arricchito con una serie di approfondimenti relativi alla recente crisi finanziaria, al ruolo dei sistemi dì credit rating, alla valutazione delle aziende ad alto rischio e delle aziende in amministrazione controllata.
