1977182091Dakar: Nouvelles Editions Africaines 1977. First edition celebrating the first meeting of foreign ministers from 55 African and Arab countries along with representatives of multiple independence movements and two banking institutions. This was the forerunner to the first conference of heads of state held from 7 to 9 March 1977 where political and economic co-operation between the OAU and the League of Arab States would be formalized. This work records the addresses given by various ministers throughout the conference contributions from representatives of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa and the African Development Bank and a full list of delegates.
