White end-papers with line drawings different at each end Dedication to Gutenberg with small part red illustration full opening with full page facs. of Gutenberg printed page to left and his portrait above 4 lines of text above large red A in his font to right verso of this has capital B facing t.p. with a capital A and red C 497 pp. inc. prelims pp. 35-485 all illustrations of type faces frequently with additional ills often in red inc. some black on red pages as well as captions remainder of text is an Index; this appears to be internally flawless with white silk place-marker; yellow top edge of text-block has some traces of dustiness. Unclipped jacket quite complete but edges and sp. ends rubbed some marks to back inc. faint edge-tanning numerous edge-nicks internally has fairly long brown repair strips across centre top and bottom edges across spine will fix additional nicks when ordered and add protective sleeve.
