164910436Paris 1649. Wrappers. Good binding. Quarto. 7 1 pp. In later stiff patterned-paper wrappers. Later wrappers are chipped soiled and nearly detached; contents are somewhat toned but generally this is a reasonably nice copy of this pamphlet that was part of the pamphleteering that accompanied the civil wars in France in the middle of the 17th century. Contemporary material by Mazarine is rare in commerce. Though issued in a couple of printings one with an the imprint: "A Paris: Chez la Veufue François Targa" there are relatively few institutions reporting ownership according to OCLC. Moreau suggests that this appeared shortly before Prince Condé's arrest based on context within the text. Moreau 2534. unknown
