Harrington 1912-1995 was considered by Langston Hughes to be America’s greatest African-American cartoonist and vociferous advocate for Civil Rights and opponent of racism. Tells the story of Anasuya an ascetic character in the Hindu epic Ramayana wife of Safe Atri and known for her great austerity.
