Lettre en deux pages adressée à "Monsieur Frédériex" concernant un ouvrage qu'il a rédigé et qui lui a fait grand plaisir. Il explique qu'à son âge, "la vie devient sombre, on oublie sa gaieté naturelle et on attend plus que des infirmités". Cependant, la chose qui fut en mesure de réchauffer son "vieux cœur de 76 ans" fut l'ouvrage de son correspondant, apparemment plein de fierté pour sa Liège natale. Dimensions : 13.5 x 21 cm. 2 pages. Etat : Relativement bon état de conservation. Auguste Hock, né à Liège le 15 octobre 1815 et mort dans la même ville 20 octobre 1901, est un poète, folkloriste et joaillier belge d'expression française.
