Three corners with minor creases from minor bumping - front lower corner with a light faint thumbprint-sized indeterminate stain/mark; a similar coloured but miniscule thin strip stain along board's front top edge too; otherwise rest of boards bright and clean. Topfore-edges bright and clean with little or no marks; contents bright tight clean solid and sound - no dog-ear reading creases to any pages' corners but previous owner has placed a blue ink tick alongside all but 8 of the tales on the Contents list/table pages - the only annotation noted. It combines traditional tools of literary criticism with more modern techniques taken especially from narratology and intertextuality. On the intertextual level it examines the narratives' complex relationship with Virgil Livy and Ovid's own earlier works.
