Weighs 5 pounds and may require extra postage. Volume I only of a 2-volume set on the history of Chinese painting. This volume covers the period from the Han to early Sung dynasties. With a preface an introduction Remarks about Painting and Calligraphy bibliography and list of illustrations all before the main text. Indices for both volumes appear at the end of VOLUME 2.
