Asmus Jacob Carstens' drawings of the Argonauts are reproduced here in eleven etchings and 13 collotypes, along with a likeness of Carstens, by J.A. Koch. Plates are printed heavy creamy paper on one side of page only, with some foxing to pages, which are in Very Good condition. Twenty-four pages of introductory text in German with descriptions of each plate.
