528 pages including index. Exposes the myths and the realities of the global economy in terms of human struggle. Contends that the global economy is sowing 'creative destruction' everywhere: while making possible great accumulations of wealth, it is also reviving forms of human exploitation that characterized industry 100 years ago. Warms that without reform, social peace and middle-class lifestyles will be threatened. Bright, clean and unmarked but for remainder dot upon bottom edge. Excellent copy. Book

Guard has painstakingly researched published sources and original PRO records to produce an absorbing, definitive story of military opportunism and indiscretion; of extreme endurance punctuated by sudden, sharp action; and of clandestine, courageous enterprise and ingenuity in the idyllic setting of the Greek islands. An intriguing account of one of the least publicised campaigns of the war, this work examines all aspects of the campaign, makes impartial assessments... and dispels some of the myths and misstatements associated with it." Clean, bright and unmarked with lightest wear. Dust jacket now in archival-grade Brodart cover. Excellent copy. Book
