Paper perfectly fresh except for 2 pale foxing spots on title page and a few on endpapers. Very handsome copy in very fine condition. Testament to civil service under the Second Empire. In 1833 Prince Louis-Napoleon Bonaparte later Napoleon III visited London with his uncle Joseph Bonaparte residing at Fenton's hotel and later moving to George Street. He was in London during November 1832 to May 1833 exploring the city's factories high society and political circles which were buzzing with potential support for a Bonapartist conspiracy against the French monarchy. unknown
