President Franklin Delano Roosevelt OK'd it only to regret it when the plan was vigorously decried at home and abroad. The Marshall Plan was adopted instead under Truman and efforts to deindustrialize and decartelize the Germany economy were limited. Harper & Brothers, Publishers unknown books
