Roma, nella Stamperia di Paolo Giunchi, 1772. 4to.; XVI pp., 192 pp., y una lámina retrato del Cardenal Burali, grabada en cobre por Capellani sobre dibujo de Angeletti. Encuadernación en cartoné, de la época, de salida, fatigada. Escipión Burali d'Arezzo (1511-1578) un famosísimo abogado napolitano, fue nombrado personalmente por Carlos V en 1550 miembro del Consejo del Reino de Nápoles y tras haber ingresado en la orden teatina en 1557 pasó a ser Arzobispo de la sede napolitana, en cuya representación hizo un viaje a España en 1564 para dirimir las diferencias con la Inquisición española, de la que consiguió separarse, pasando a depender directamente de Roma.

Madrid, 1987. 4to; 328 pp. Cubiertas originales. Juan de Oria, aragonés, benedictino de Valladolid, es la figura central de la aparición del nominalismo en España. Enseñó Lógica y posteriormente Filosofía de la Naturaleza en Salamanca, después de un viaje a Roma entre 1519 y 1520, tras la publicación del presente Tratado, donde muestra su aceptación de los principios averroístas en psicología. En 1523 la Inquisición le procesó y le impidió seguir enseñando. Murió en 1550.
