Text body is clean and free from previous owner annotation underlining and highlighting. Previous owner's name in ink on front free end paper. Vellum over flexible boards 224 pages decorated with illustrated letters. Appears to be a genealogy of the Chigi family including one notable member of the family Fabio Chigi 1599-1667 who became Pope Alexander VII 1655-1667. WorldCat lists only this edition which is only found in one library. Vellum is stained corners and spine ends bumped and worn vellum chipped in horizontal line on spine and shows binding several pages are heavily stained/toned notes in ink on blank page at end of book notes written in Italian on spare pieces of paper are also included. Appears unmarked other than a thrift store price erasure at the top of the front endpaper and a long pencil slide to the rear endpaper. Unpaginated but Volume 2 contains chart 957 with Mainwaring Meschines Kevelioc and Gernon through chart 2178 with Poppo II Sophia of Istria and Von Sponheim for an estimated 1200 pages.
