Es handelt sich um drei universitäre Dokumente des späteren Künstlers Arno Richter. Ausgegeben wurden sie von den damaligen Vereinigten Staatsschulen für Freie und Angewandte Kunst in Berlin-Charlottenburg, dem Zusammenschluß der Hochschule für die bildenden Künste und der Unterrichtsanstalt des Kunstgewerbe-Museums. Erhalten sind für den Studenten Arno Richter ein Belegbuch (1929), ein Hochschulausweis (1926-1929) sowie eine Hospitanten-Ausweiskarte (1936-1938) mit handschriftlichen Eintragungen. Alle Dokumente tragen die Stempel der jeweiligen politischen Systeme, sowohl vor als auch nach 1933. Das Belegbuch führt 1929 auch einen von Richter belegten Kurs bei Emil Orlik auf, als dessen Schüler Richter sich selbst sah. Aus dem Studenten Arno Richter wurde später ein Kostümbildner, Bühnenbildner und Filmarchitekt. Insbesondere in den späten 1920er und 1930er Jahren war seine Arbeit für Theater und Film von hoher Intensität geprägt bis er im Jahr 1939 emigrierte. So schuf er beispielsweise für die Filme "Der Rebell" (Luis Trenker, 1932) und "SOS Eisberg" (Arnold Fanck, 1933) die Bauten oder für den NS-Staatsfilm "Robert Koch, der Bekämpfer des Todes" (Hans Steinhoff, 1939) die Kostüme. Interessante Berliner Hochschul-Archivalien aus der späten Weimarer Zeit und dem Nationalsozialismus!
