Full contemporary red morocco covers with gilt greek key border gilt cornerpieces of crowns and flowers and a large central gilt device combining crown and stars flanked by angels blowing horns the royal monogram of King George surmounting the gilt letters: "Chapel Royal St. James's"; richly gilt spine marbled endpapers a.e.g. Armorial bookplate on front pastedown of "Gilbert Nicholson of the Country of Balrath in the County of Meath" dated 1669; bookplate of "Laurence A. Waldron" on the front free endpaper; and bookplate of "Marino Killiney" on the rear pastedown presumably Marino House and Casino which was built for Lord Charlemont.
