Small paper label at base of spine "Trinity College Library" stamped beneath it. 15 x 10 1/4 inches joints very good tight. College library bookplate at front card pocket at back. Title page printed in red & black is somewhat edge-tattered with old repair on verso. The text is complete. There are 40 leaves of preliminaries including "Index operum omnium" "Index S. Scripturarum toto opere citatarum" and "Index alphabeticus" plus one leaf half-title page. Then pp. 1-72 skips p. nos. 15-16 without loss of text; 1-244; 1-240 p. 216 misnumbered as 198; 1-40; 1-110 skips page nos. 57-58 with no loss of text; 52 misnumbered as 42 72 as 27; 1-72; 4 1-118; 1-37. Counted and complete. Text is in good condition with some marginal stains foxing pinhole worming in the margins; one leaf with short tear in the margin. This edition first published in 1682 at Oxford; the text is in Latin with some Greek. The works of Saint Caecilius Cyprianus c. 210-258 Bishop of Carthage in which city he was born and died.
