Counterfeit Editions published the same year as the first. While Bassompierre's military exploits in the service of Henri IV earned him great honour and distinction as a diplomatist his career was a failure. This collection of accounts relates his successive unsucccessful diplomatic missions to Spain 1621; where he was responsible for signing the Treaty of Madrid Switzerland 1625 and England 1626.
