This little pamphlet contains several musical selections from the Kloran 9handbook of the Klan. Most of the selections are patriotic or religious songs but one number is called Whiter Than Snow. 1924101438Pamphlet 8vo brown wrappers with title 86 pp. plus 10 blank pages for notes. Wrappers chipped with a few small pieces missing from edges and corners some pages with edge tears last blank with some worm holes not affecting text some aging and browning and a little bit of soiling; still a decent copy. This pamphlet tells you all you want to know about Klan structure process and organization. Not surprisingly it spells out the requirements of membership white male native born and Protestant. There is a short introductory note by Paul S. Ethelridge Imperial Wizard. While the OCLC indicates a couple of dozen libraries have copies this is not an item that shows up all that often. After the Klan was officially reformed in 1915 a women's branch of the organization was founded in Little Rock in 1923. The principal material present here comprises five pamphlets with rules oaths ceremonies and music for group meetings.
