Seconde édition de ce recueil de vers satiriques - sonnets, épigrammes, épitaphes, rondeaux, etc. – très violents dirigés contre Richelieu, Mazarin et Colbert. Les pièces concernant Fouquet lui sont le plus souvent favorables, ce qui permet aux auteurs de critiquer Colbert et Louis XIV. Selon Bourgeois et André, l'ouvrage aurait été publié en Hollande par un réfugié français. "480 pièces plus 7 anagrammes, devises, etc." selon Lachèvre, qui identifie 25 auteurs, dont La Fontaine, Benserade, Pierre Corneille, Desmarets, Malleville, Boisrobert, Barbier d'Aucour, Le Laboureur, etc. À propos de Richelieu, on remarque la 'Miliade' et 'L'Enlèvement des reliques de Saint-Fiacre' ; à propos de Colbert, 'Rencontre de Colbert et de Hotman dans les Enfers' (p.171).
