195521052102Finland 1955. 1st Edition . No Binding. Fine. A standard Finnish A2 cinema-used lobby poster for the movie Si Versailles m'était conté starring Claudette Colbert. The film was released in English as Royal Affairs in Versailles The film was released in Finland in 1955 with no subsequent theatrical runs. This poster is not a re-issue or a modern reproduction and nor is it Video/DVD-related The "small" standard vintage Finnish film poster is the most common and collected version and approximates in size to the German or Hungarian A2. Sizes do vary very slightly depending on the printers involved and the era. Stylistically vintage Finnish movie posters rarely reproduce the same art-work from the original studios' publicity material. Older films were usually re-named in Finnish and Swedish below but nearly always referenced the original title of the movie somewhere in the presentation This particular poster is 60cm x 40cm approx. It is in fantastic condition - Near Mint - with no pinholes or adhesive reside marks. A minor nick to the edge on the left. Exceptionally well preserved clean and bright otherwise speaks for itself a gorgeous vintage cinema poster. For best appreciation of condition please examine the high-resolution image which accompanies this listing.

unknown
