Ozanam a French mathematician b. 1640 d. 1717 published many well received mathematical titles. Recreations translated here into English by Charles Hutton was first published in 1694. Includes sections on acoustics astronomy arithmetic magnetism mechanics navigation optics pyrotechnics etc. A bit age-toned and dusty else a very nice early set in later binding sadly lacking the 4th volume.
