Book is in excellent condition. Binding is solid and square, covers have sharp corners, exterior shows no blemishes, text/interior is clean and free of marking of any kind. Dust jacket shows the slightest signs of shelf wear only, no tears. The author's original text is unabridged, the readers (usually professional actors or broadcasters) are selected for the quality of their characterisations, the recordings are produced to high standards in Dolby stereo and the cassettes or discs are housed in robust 'diamond' packs. Not surprisingly, used sets are scarce and almost invariably ex-institutional copies. Sets in the present state and condition are very uncommon.
