Mussolini's domestic goal was the eventual establishment of a totalitarian state with himself as supreme leader Il Duce. He favored the complete restoration of state authority with the integration of the Fasci di Combattimento into the armed forces. In political and social economy he passed legislation that favoured the wealthy industrial and agrarian classes. Together with a Typed Letter Signed from Eugene Bonardell the Consul General of Italy in Ottawa to Shaw sending thanks on behalf of Mussolini. unknown
