Two brochures two-fold then double-fold 12 panels each; 7 1/2 x 4 1/2 and 8 x 3 3/4; illustrated with Art Deco drawings and 49 and 24 color paint chips laid on respectively; a bit of wear and age-toning along margins and folds; in very good condition. Beautiful advertising brochures they showcased the colors of Rogers lacquers including several stippled ones with brilliant marbled effects. « After a long history of the ills suffered by workers in contact with lead, Brachet attributed a pathophysiology to saturnism involving the "ganglionated nervous system". As a sanitarian, Brachet recommended replacing ceruse with zinc white to reduce the toxicity of paints ». O. Walusinski, "Jean-Louis Brachet (1789-1858). A forgotten contributor to early 19th century neurology".
